Have you ever seen a tree,
A plant, be jealous of a lei?
Have you ever seen a flower,
Living on the tree forever?
Such is life, a tree having moments,
As ephemeral as blossoms,
Some bear fruits, some die,
And some become his lei.
Have you ever seen a bloom
Masking it's fragrance?
Have you ever seen a tree
Squirreling it's fruits?
Such is the generosity,
Of nature, of life.
And that is the destiny,
Of being human and humanity.
