Wild

I creep slowly and steadily,
I grow silently and readily,
I take over,
Without you knowing until after.

I am untamed,
I am unbound,
I flourish untouched,
And unmarred.

Let me be free,
Let me be me,
I need to bloom,
I have to leave this gloom.

I was made to run,
I was made to fly,
I am meant to see,
Not touch and sully

Don't cage me,
Don't shackle me,
I grow wild,
Come find me!!

Heart of a Statue

Can it beat,
Do you think,
The heart of a Statue?

Can it feel,
Do you know,
The heart of a Statue?

The heart of a statue
Destined to be alone,
Made of stone,
Lying hidden
In the shadows
Of deep dark hollows
Of the forgotten statue,

Can't beat, can't feel.
Although it longs,
To be touched.
For there was
A prophecy:
Aeons hence
A golden touch
Will make the heart
Of the stone sculpture

Twinkle like the brightest star,
Emerge from the curse,
Of a lonely journey
And beat again
For it's beloved,
Feel again
The sweet love,
Of the flower fae,
Wandering the woods,
Through nights and days,
For years, ages, epochs and aeons.

Another Walk In The Forest

I went again, on an expedition,
Into a deep, dark forest,
With long, twisting tracks,
And tall drunken trunks.

This time though,
The silence was sonorous,
The dark was amorous,
And the trees were rapturous.

For the nonce,
The water was serenading,
The air was dancing,
And the peacocks, they were prancing.

As the world went by,
And the time flew by,
The soiree went on
For me, the only privileged patron.

The First Date

There were no roses, no drinks,
Neither were there any chocolates,
Nor any balloons and sparkly gifts,
There were just you and me,

Under the velvet night sky,
With the serenading trees,
And the whispering wind.
The time like river slipped by,

As we talked the night away,
The stars bore witness to our promenade.
The hands barely brushed,
But the souls got entangled that day,

In the eons old dance of the universe,
Twirling and swirling, all night long.
The dawn came,
And the hands barely brushed,
But the souls got entangled, forever.

Caged Rose

She bloomed in a fenced garden,
Walled on one side,
Fenced on the other.
Rooted deep into the soil,

She bloomed in a fenced garden,
Surrounded by shadows,
Of big dense bushes.
With the colour of virgin's blushes,

She bloomed in a fenced garden,
A beauty in her prime.
Unfurling her petals, inviting the forlorn spirits,
To share their sorrows,

She bloomed in a fenced garden.
The sweet ambrosia, the captivating aroma,
Brought the world,
To the fence trapping her.

A Father's Kiss

Time is not stopping,
And neither are the new memories.
They are settling, layer by layer, each layer,
Burying the old ones deeper and deeper.

Everyday a new memory blooms,
On the fertile soil of my soul.
Reminding me, the autumn has gone,
And a new spring sun has shone.

In this spring afternoon,
I see the golden rays kissing,
The soft petals of the blooms,
And my heart gives a sad flutter.

For in that flicker of a second,
I felt a familiar warmth,
Of a father's kiss,
Now lost in the time's abyss.

The Eternal Verity

There were days,
When the pen was overflowing with words,
When the paper was stained with strange worlds,
When each leaf of the tree spoke a new story,
And every flower evoked a different memory.

There were days,
When the time had stood still,
When the tree looked as stoic as God's will,
When the air was laden with scents,
And the garden with floral tents.

There were days
When the heart spoke of only love and peace,
When only beauty and life mattered to the eyes,
When the soul was untouched by vulgarity,
And believed only in eternal verity.

I long for those days,
Before the beginning of this race,
When honour, love, solidarity,
Meant something to this place.
